Even though the price of the drums, guitar and mic is high, they will work on all the other music games, meaning you only have to buy them once.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

You can’t really go wrong with the biggest game of the year. Perfect for any first person shooter fans, Modern Warfare 2 is the most popular game to play. The game has an amazing storyline, although it is quite short, however, the game compensates by having a brilliant multiplayer. With a game that’s this good, it’s quite hard to go wrong.

DJ Hero

Another music game now, DJ Hero is another game from the makers of Guitar Hero. However, this time instead of a mic, you use some DJ decks. The only problem with the game is that the DJ Deck controller can only be used on the DJ Hero games, which there is only one. However, if you have an aspiring DJ in your family, it’s on of the best gifts you could buy them.

Tony Hawks: RIDE

The latest Tony Hawks game, only released last week and it’s their best yet. The game comes with a state of the art skateboard controller, very similar to the Wii Balance Board. The game is great fun to play and getting the hang of the game isn’t hard, even if you’ve never ridden a skatebaord. Just like DJ Hero, the expensive controller can’t be used on other games, I can only hope other games are released to benefit from this amazing piece of kit.
